Educational Psychologist

When a student performs below expectations and he/she needs more or a different kind of support than the mentor can provide, the student can be referred to the school's educational psychologist (orthopedagoog).
Mrs. Berendsen will support the student in finding solutions.
Types of issues that she is dealing with are learning disabilities, dyslexia, dyscalculia, test anxiety, organization skills, attention(concentration)problems, lacking classroom skills.
The orthopedagoog offers testing for learning problems and individual guidance to help students reach their learning goals.
She also coordinates the digital remedial program for students who want to improve their Dutch language skills with the use of computer applications.
