Tribute to Vital carty

In remembrance of our friend, mentor, colleague, Co-Ordinator of the PKL/PBL Department, and Vice-Principal Vital Carty, whose lessons have left an incredible mark on all of us (the teacher’s and students’ lives) because he believed in all of us. he was a true educator and the students were his first priority, always.
He was more than a teacher, he was an inspiration, not only here at MPC but in the wider community of St. Maarten too. He touched everybody’s heart and the Control Band was his other home.

The MPC art department Teachers Daphne Prevoo, Annemiek Van Kerkhof-Posthuma, and Karl Amatd designed and painted this mural as a tribute to this great man.
Kooyman has been so generous to donate all the paint for this project. We are very grateful for their contribution.
