UCE and SVOBE Signs Memorandum of Understanding

Universidad Central del Este in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic signed a memorandum of understanding with Stichting Voortgezet Onderwijs Bovenwindse Eilanden, (SVOBE), a secondary education institution in Sint Maarten, with the aim of offering its graduates the opportunity to continue their studies and receive an alternative higher quality education, with accredited careers suitable for practicing in the local and international labor market.

The memorandum was signed by the rector of the UCE, Mr. José Hazim Torres; by Mrs. Marcelita Maretta Fleming, SVOBE Vice President and Mrs. Jacqueline Duggins-Horsford, SVOBE General Director.

This signing is an opportunity for cultural exchange, internationalization, and collaboration between both countries.
