This agreement establishes that “the number of students who may benefit from this agreement will be fixed for each academic year.” The document was signed by the vice chairperson of SVOBE, Marcelita Fleming and the rector of this academy, Reverend Father Dr. Secilio Espinal.
The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding represents a great opportunity for students from Sint Maarten, academically, professionally and culturally. It will also open great opportunities for both countries,” explained the director of the Foundation, Jacqueline Duggins – Horsford.
In turn, the rector Secilio Espinal, highlighted how the exchange and experience of studying abroad broadens the students’ vision as persons, as students and future professionals “where they are no longer only trained for a specific country, but they are trained with an international vision,” indicated Espinal.
Additionally, the document establishes that each student will be responsible for expenses related to the academic program. The agreement will be for a period of four years, which may be extended by mutual agreement between the parties.
